What is the average to cost to build a Koi Pond?

I’m doing research on having a koi pond installed when I buy a house. Average size would be 12′X17′ and 4′ deep, a couple waterfalls and lights. Flexible liner. and all equipment (pump, filter, jets,…)

For a pond that size it will cost between $15,000 and $20,000. Just the filter will cost $3,000. Those will be the basic costs for what you have described and for more landscaping around the pond it will probably be more. Your area of the country make a big difference in the price so some areas may be more. If any contractor would give you a bid of under $10,000 then you should run away from them quickly because they do not know what they are doing.
